How far in advance should I book an appointment?

It is recommended to book your appointment 3 days in advance. During the holidays we recommend to schedule your appointment about a week in advance.

Can you make a prior visit to review what needs to be cleaned?

Yes we can. Although for our and your convince it would be recommended to send us pictures of the area you want to wash through email, text message, etc.

How long does it take for my carpet/furniture to dry?

The drying time for carpet or furniture will depend on material/type, humidity levels, ventilation conditions. Normally it takes about 2 to 4 hours to dry. But in a ventilated room and the use fans can accelerate the drying time. 

How long will it take to clean the carpet?

It takes about 20-30 minutes per room depending on the size of the area. 

What areas do you work in?

All of the Inland Empire, and San Gabriel Valley.

What types of payments do you accept?

We accept cash, debit/credit, and checks. 

Do I need to vacuum prior to the appointment?

It is not necessary, but it is recommended. Especially high trafficked areas.

How often should I professionally clean my carpet?

It is recommend to wash your carpet every six months. Although having pets, a high trafficked area, or family that has allergies can change how frequently you choose to wash your carpet. Cleaning your carpet will eliminate bacteria, and extend the life of your carpet.

What cleaning method does GM Carpet Cleaning use?

We use a powerful van-mounted machine, using our steam cleaning system. It is capable of heating water up to 230 degrees accompanied with a vacuum power, strong enough to only leave it slightly damp. 

Do I need to move my furniture?

We can move light furniture, but we are not responsible for moving heavier furniture. We do charge an extra fee if you would like us to move heavier furniture. If you choose not to move the furniture we will clean around the furniture. 

How is the elimination of all stains or orders guaranteed?

We will do the best to that out stains or odors, bur we cannot guarantee that all stains and odors will be eliminated. Sometimes substances permanently discolor/stain carpet fibers. The age of the carpet/rug/furniture is also play a role in this case.
